One Man, Two Guvnors

Always famished and easily confused, Francis Henshall agrees to work for a local gangster as well as a criminal in hiding, both of whom are linked in a web of schemes, extortions and romantic associations ... none of which Francis can keep straight. So he has to do everything in his power to keep his two "guvnors" from meeting while trying to eat anything in sight along the way. This 2011 adaptation of the 18th-century Italian comedy "Servant of Two Masters" is by Richard Bean.

King show convinced him that he wanted to become a blues guitarist. He plays a unique blend of Memphis R&B, Southwest blues and urban funk. He has several recordings available on the Alligator, Capricorn and Telarc labels. He has shared the stage with The Allman Brothers, Robert Cray, Koko Taylor and Widespread Panic.

He's been profiled in The New Yorker, toured with Oprah, and in 2011 Time Magazine named him one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. He has a regular show at Largo, the legendary comedy and music club in Los Angeles, where he lives with wife Kristen and their three children.

Karla Bonoff

Karla Bonoff is one of the great female vocalist and singer-songwriters of our time. She was a songwriter by the age of 15. She wrote several songs that scored hits for Linda Rondstadt, and Karla herself was signed as a solo artist to Columbia Records in 1977. There, she not only recorded the songs Linda had done (such as "Someone to Lay Down Beside Me"), but also the hit single "I Can't Hold On" and the tune "Home," which later wound up on one of Bonnie Raitt's albums. Throughout the years, she's toured with Raitt, Jackson Browne, John Prine, J.D. Souther and others.

Cheryl Wheeler

Contemporary folk musician Cheryl Wheeler, who has toured with Christine Lavin and has occasionally been part of Lavin's performance group, 'Four B*tchin' Babes,' is known for including comic routines in her live musical performances. Wheeler's music has been covered by Peter, Paul and Mary, Garth Brooks, Bette Midler and Kenny Loggins, among others, and she also performed as part of a trio with Shawn Colvin and Mary Chapin Carpenter in 1988, an event which was recorded but never officially released.
