Justin Rivera is a full-time professional magician and comedian from the Magic Castle in Hollywood. He was recently named a judges’ favorite on NBC’s "America’s Got Talent." A continuing member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood after graduating from their junior program being accepted at the minimum age of 13, Rivera offers an array of services from emcee for trade shows, weddings and corporate events to performing his act on stage or walking around at dinners, receptions and cocktail hours. For nearly 25 years, his unique style and blend of comedy and magic has delighted and amused people from all different backgrounds, which has led him to be known in the comedy circuit as the "Comedian's Magician."

The spring gala season for A.V.A. Ballet Theatre opens with the classic ballet Beauty and the Beast May 5th and 6th at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Choreographed by Alexander Van Alstyne, Beauty and the Beast is the captivating story of the handsome prince who is cursed by an evil witch and transformed into a hideous Beast. He will remain a Beast until someone falls in love with him. That someone is of course, Beauty. This classic story is filled with mesmerizing dance, intrigue, and is fun for the entire family. The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s exciting score.
