A Conversation With Linda Ronstadt

Art Talk,Special Event

Linda Ronstadt became one of the most popular interpretive singers of the '70s, earning a string of platinum-selling albums and Top 40 singles. Throughout the '80s, her sound changed with the times and trends, from "new wave" influences, to a sucessful trio of pre-rock pop albums with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra. Ronstadt's later hits include duets with Aaron Neville and 'Western Wall: The Tucson Sessions' a tour de force of harmony alongside Emmylou Harris. Parkinson's Disease has robbed her of her prodigious musicality and vocal control. She has not been able to sing at all since 2012.
