Foo Fighters

Former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl started Foo Fighters as a one-man project in 1994 after Kurt Cobain's death, but it evolved into a full band, and within a year there was a self-titled album, as they announced themselves with the single "This Is a Call." Fast-forward and it's over two decades now, and Foo Fighters have had several hits such as "My Hero," "'Learning to Fly," "Everlong" and "DOA," and Grohl has become ubiquitous – fronting Foo Fighters, touring, performing as a guest at tribute and awards shows, directing the 2014 HBO series "Sonic Highways." And in September 2017, their ninth album, "Concrete and Gold," is being released, preceded by the single "Run." As of 2017, the lineup includes Grohl, original members bassist Nate Mendel and guitarist Pat Smear (of legendary L.A. punks the Germs; he was also Nirvana's touring rhythm guitarist), along with guitarist Chris Shiflett, drummer Taylor Hawkins and, as of 2017, keyboardist Rami Jaffee (formerly of The Wallflowers).

Bellator MMA

Mixed Martial Arts/Fighting

Bellator Fighting Championships is a first of its kind Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) series. Bellator, Latin for “Warrior,” began with the realization that the fighters and the competition between the fighters must be the central focus of any Mixed Martial Arts organization. At Bellator, fighters use their hands, knees, elbows, feet, hips and heart to determine who fights for the world title. In short, Bellator is a modern MMA tournament, bringing together a collection of world class competitors under one banner to fight for the right to call themselves World Champion. While matchmaking plays a key role in the development and maturation of fighters at various stages of their careers (particularly early in their careers), once fighters become world-class competitors, our belief is that they should be able to control their own destiny.

When singles from their 2017 album in progress, "Mania," failed to make a mark, they pushed the release date to 2018 and wrote new songs. The reworked "Mania" shot to No. 1 on the Billboard charts, their fourth to reach the top of the charts. formed in Wilmette, IL, and consists of members vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. Some of their hits include "Sugar, We're Going Down," "Dance, Dance," and "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race."
