Children (6 to 12 years of age) are invited to read to Daphne, a friendly trained therapy dog. This is a great program for struggling or reluctant readers. Daphne is a great listener! Children can bring one of their books from home or borrow one of ours.

Lego Building Challenge

Children

Let your imagination fly in this Lego Building Challenge at North Sacramento-Hagginwood Library. Kids, tweens, and teens will create a unique work of art using the library's enormous tubs of Legos. Winners will be chosen from three age categories: 6-8 years of age, 9-12 years of age, and teens (13-17 years of age). Judging to begin at 5:00 pm.
