Ian Moore

Blues, Rock

Starting back in 1993, Austin-based Ian Moore put out three albums ("Ian Moore," "Live From Austin" and "Modernday Folklore") and created his reputation while touring with fellow Texan Joe Ely. He sound eventually, restlessly, morphed from straight-ahead blues and blues rock into psychedelia, power pop and noise rock. He has also worked as a sideman for artists as different from each other as Jasoin Mraz and Roky Erickson, was in the film "Sling Blade," and has collaborated with Ice Cube, Prince B and Spiral Stairs. He now has two EPs and 12 albums, the latest being the 2017 release "Strange Days."
