Sac Stateís production will include only student actresses reciting the dialogues. The Vagina Monologues are part of V-Day, a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. The monologues are performed nationwide only during the months of February and March and the proceeds typically go to programs that work to end violence against women and girls. The proceeds from this annual Sac State stage production will go to My Sisterís House- an organization that addresses the needs of Asian and Pacific Islander women and children impacted by domestic violence.
