Autism-Friendly Family Movie : "Frankenweenie"

Film

Join us for a special family movie event for kids with autism and/or sensory disorders. "Typical" toddlers and preschoolers are welcome too. We'll have healthy snacks, the lights will be slightly up, the sound will be slightly down, and kids don't need to remain seated while enjoying the movie. There will also be lots of fidget toys. Celebrate author Mary Shelley's 200th anniversary of her novel Frankenstein! Tim Burton presents "Frankenweenie", where suburban schoolboy Victor resurrects his deceased dog Sparky as part of a science experiment. He then must contend with the unexpected complications of having an undead house pet, in this black and white classic film. (2012, PG, 90 min, Disney)
