Family Cabins

Asymptotic Productions presents Family Cabins, an original play by Irwin Rosenblum and directed by Leo McElroy. Jane arrives, after a year-long trip to Europe, at her family’s cabin in the Sierras, in time for “Gotcha Day”, her family's annual celebration of the date of her adoption. She returns with an exuberant and optimistic outlook, which she believes is a result of both her life-changing adventure and her choice to stop taking the medication for her bipolar disorder. But events of the weekend trigger Jane into a deepening mania, leaving her family desperately trying to help a loved one struggling with mental illness.
