Japandroids (JPNDRDS) is a two-piece band from Vancouver, BC that started in 2006 as a creative outlet for Brian King and David Prowse. Originally intending to be a trio, the boys decided to forgo the logistical nightmare of having a "lead singer" and do it themselves. As a consequence, Japandroids consists of one guitar, one set of drums, and two vocalizers. Their most recent album, 'Celebration Rock,' landed on many critics' and fans' lists as one of the top albums of 2012, and also scored a place on 'Rolling Stone's' list of the "10 Coolest Summer Albums of All Time."
